彭年才教授是“万人计划”领军人才、全国创新争先奖获得者、国务院特殊津贴专家、长江学者、陕西省工商联执委、陕西首批三秦学者特聘教授和创新团队带头人、陕西省最美科技工作者等，兼任陕西省生命科学检测仪器工程中心主任、国家重点研发计划、自然科学基金评审专家等职务。

彭教授瞄准“四个面向”和国家民生重大急需，专注疾病早期快速诊断的核酸检测前沿技术研究、产品开发和产业化，牵头制定国家行业标准，指引了全国新冠核酸检测。提供用于新冠病毒核酸检测仪器14000余台、试剂1亿余份至全国所有省份和40余个国家。收到国务院新冠疫情联防联控机制和国家疾控中心的感谢信，实现核酸检测额产品从完全依赖进口发展到自主可控并大批量在全球应用。

Niancai PENG is the leading talent of “Ten Thousand Talents Project”, winner of National Innovation Award, expert of “Special government allowances of the State Council”, Changjiang Scholar, executive committee of “Shaanxi Federation of Industry & Commerce”, the first batch of distinguished professor of “Sanqin Scholars” and Innovation Team Leader in Shaanxi, etc. At the same time, he is the director of “Shaanxi Life Science Testing Instrument Engineering Center”, evaluation expert of “National Key R&D Program of China” and “National Natural Science Foundation of China”, etc.

Aiming at the “Four Aspects” and the major urgent needs of the national people’s livelihood, Niancai Peng focused on the research, development and industrialization of nucleic acid detection technology in early rapid diagnosis of disease, led the formulation of national industry standards, and guided the 2019-nCoV nucleic acid detection. More than 14,000 instruments and 100 million reagents for 2019-nCoV nucleic acid detection have been provided to all provinces of China and over 40 countries. And Xi’an Tianlong Science & Technology Co., Ltd. led by Niancai Peng have received the letters of thanks from Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council and Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, realizing the development of nucleic acid detection products from completely dependent on imports to independent controllable and large-scale applications around the world.
