2002年在武汉理工大学获工学博士学位。2003年在合肥工业大学从事博士后研究工作期间，被评为副研究员职称。2004年至今一直在上海汽车行业工作，曾经服务过4家汽车行业上市公司，担任过科技部863课题项目副组长，工作领域涉及乘用车、商用车、物流车、新能源汽车和汽车零部件，研究范围包括新能源汽车、氢能源、碳排放、造车新势力、智能网联、车联网、V2X、5G通讯、信息安全、自动驾驶、充电桩、汽车共享、新零售、汽车投资、后市场、互联网+等。他于2002年进入新能源汽车领域工作，2011年开始研究智能网联行业。曾经考察过美欧日韩等国际汽车市场。
